Upload and add a PDF (or file) for download

Wordpond lets you add PDFs (or any file) to your content. Here is how you do it.

Do you have PDF content that you want to add? In this article, we show you how to upload a PDF, link to it, and embed it. This way, the information can be part of your content but still remain in its original format.

Enable file downloads

You must enable this feature in your workspace before adding PDFs or files. (Owner and admin roles only).

  • Go to Workspace settings > Downloads
  • Turn on 'Enable file downloads' and click Save.

Add the file and download button to your content.

In Wordpond, your readers can download files by clicking a button in your content.

Here is how you set this up:

That's it! The Wordpond platform will automatically upload your file to a server, where it will be downloaded when your reader clicks the download button.

Where do I add my download button?

Where to place the download button is a choice, and it depends mainly on what you are trying to achieve.

You can place your button on a sidebar, in a section, in content, or at the end of an article.

Overview

After adding a file, the file will also show up in your Articles list at the end.
